Students, volunteers, journalists, reporters, photographers and anyone reading, this is an invitation to join the movement with El Pueblo Unido. This year we are going to Canoa, Ecuador! On April 16th, 2016 a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struct the coast of Ecuador leaving Canoa and many other small beachfront communities in collapse. Since the quake, there have been 500+ aftershocks including two on May 18th, 2016 that were of 6.7 and 6.8 magnitude which were only several hours apart.
It would be amazing to see other people's perspective on what's happening in Canoa, Ecuador. The mainstream media coverage the earthquake is receiving is little to none. It is a story worth reporting which is not being followed that El Pueblo Unido will share with you.
El Pueblo Unido is a movement focused on restoring communities damaged by natural disasters. El Pueblo Unido raises money, volunteers in effected areas, and documents the whole process.
Money raised will provide short and long term necessities for the people in the effected area. Volunteers are needed to distribute aid to families in make-shift tent villages, clean up demolished buildings and document the whole process. No experience necessary.

Estudiantes, voluntarios, periodistas, reporteros, fotógrafos y a todos que estan leyendo, te invito a participar en el movimiento con El Pueblo Unido. Este ano nos vamos a Canoa, Ecuador! En el 16 de Abril 2016 un terremoto de 7.8 magnitud comenzó dejando Canoa, Ecuador y otro pueblos adelante del mar destruido. Desde el teremoto, Ecuador tenido 500+ temblores. Por ejemplo, el 18th de mayo 2016 dos temblores de 6.7 y 6.8 magnitud comenzó a temblar en unas horas.
Me gustaría si gente comparta sus opiniones de Canoa, Ecuador. Las noticas y periódicos del terremoto casi no existan. Es un cuento que deben reportar que no están reportando entonces El Pueblo Unido lo va a compartir contigo.
El Pueblo Unido es un movimiento que restaurar comunidades que sufra de desatora naturales. El Pueblo Unido recoge dinero, ofrece voluntario en lugares efectuada de desatora, y documentamos el proceso.
Dinero recogido va a proveer necesidades corto y largo para la gente en lugares efectuada. Se necesita voluntarios para distribuir ayuda en los ciudades de carpas, limpiar los edificios demolidos, y documentar el proceso. Experiencia no es necesario.
